The next time you’re visiting our Maine Street period rooms, you’ll have something new to look at! We’ve created a series of maps showing how our state, county, and the municipalities within Churchill County have changed since the 1840s! Stop by to check it out!
Come see reproductions of arborglyphs made by Basque sheepherders across Nevada and into California! This traveling exhibit, created by Aspenluv, is open through February and features reproductions of dozens of carvings, basque music, and a special arborglyph craft.
The elves have been hard at work, and the museum is aglow with holiday cheer! Visit now through the end of the year to see our decorations.
We’re very excited to be hosting “Arborglyphs: The Art of Heritage,” produced by Aspenluv! This exhibit features rubbings of arborglyphs made by Basque sheepherders all over Nevada and California. The exhibit opens October 17th, and we hope to see you there!
