There’s a lot of our collection that visitors don’t see, as there simply isn’t enough space in the museum, and keeping them off display helps preserve them for future generations. Our newest exhibit, “Preserving our History,” talks about how we store these collections and showcases some of our newest acquisitions!
Our newest Long-Term Exhibit, Settling the County is finally open! You can visit the exhibit during normal business hours, but we also have a special members-only reception coming soon, so if you are a member keep an eye on your mailbox and inbox for your invite!
Over the last few months, our staff has been working in tandem with staff at the Rafter 3C Arena to make several exhibit highlighting ranching history. This exhibit is now complete, and a public dedication will be held on Friday, February 16 at 2:30. Read the full press release here
