Since the 1980s, the Churchill County Museum has collaborated with the Bureau of Land Management to offer tours of Hidden Cave to the public. Free BLM-hosted tours are available on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month, other than federal holiday weekends. You can also take a virtual tour on our VR kiosk during all normal business hours!

All tours meet at the Churchill County Museum. You will watch an introductory video in our multi-purpose room. Then, the guide will leave a caravan out to Hidden Cave. Be sure to bring hiking shoes, water, sunblock, and a hat. The hike is about 3/4 mile with some steep terrain and is not wheelchair-accessible. Tour lasts about 2 hours. Public Tours

To go on a public tour, simply arrive at the Churchill County Museum around 9:15 am on any second and fourth Saturday (other than on federal holiday weekends). No reservations or tickets are required, but please call ahead if you are bringing a large group. Tour orientation begins promptly at 9:30. Tours may be canceled due to weather.
