Asa Kenyon

On this day in 1830, Asa Kenyon was born in Rome, New York. He and his wife, Catherine Haggerty became the first permanent non-Native settlers here in Churchill County when they founded Ragtown Station (pictured here, Near modern Leetville Junction) in 1854.
