Hispanic Heritage Month – Bracero Program

In 1942, the US and Mexico began the Bracero Program. This brought millions of Mexican men to rural communities across the US, including our own, to address a WWII labor shortage. Some of these workers stayed and raised families in Churchill County. #hispanicheritagemonth
