Diatomaceous Earth Day

Today is Diatomaceous Earth Day! This mouthful of a mineral is made of mounds of marine microalgae. Modern manufacturers mine it multinationally to make multitudes of materials. Hazen has a massive magnitude of the stuff, but no major mines. Might we make the motion you visit the museum to see some today?
