Mr. Ranson has long had an interest in our World War II veterans. As the number of World War II veterans diminished, Steve took on the role of project coordinator of Legacies of the Silver State: Nevada Goes to War.  He and his colleagues interviewed scores of World War II veterans and learned more about them and how they helped the war effort. These first-hand accounts show how veterans exhibited great intrepidness and bravery when facing the enemy.
