In these uncertain times, it is important to retain perspective and honor and seek to understand those that have served in the armed forces. Our newest temporary exhibit War Comes Home: The Legacy helps do just that, by highlighting private correspondence from almost every major conflict in US history. We’ve enhanced this traveling exhibit from Exhibit Envoy with Churchill County photos and artifacts to put a local spin on it.
The exhibit opens April 5 and runs through May 29th. It will dovetail with our lecture series (more details coming soon!)

War Comes Home: The Legacy is a partnership between Cal Humanities, the California State Library and Exhibit Envoy. It is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities, the BayTree Fund, The Whitman Fund, and the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
