For women’s history month, every week in March we’ll be highlighting one book by or about Northern Nevada women to encourage everyone to learn about our foremothers. We’re starting with one of our favorites, “Desert of Change: Mary Freeman, Photographer.” Mary Freeman lived here in the early 1900s and captured dozens of pictures of life in Churchill County at the time.
