Virtual Reality Hidden Cave
August 15, 2021
Hidden Cave is a cultural and scientific treasure located in our backyard. Thousands of years of human and natural history fill the interior of the cave, attracting multiple teams of archaeologists in the mid-twentieth century. Since the 1980s, Hidden Cave tours have brought thousands of people to visit the site. Today we announce a new development: you can now visit Hidden Cave right at the Churchill County Museum, Churchill County Library, or Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Community Learning Center!
The Hidden Cave Virtual Reality experience, designed by UNR’s @One Digital Media Team, includes a tour of the cave, 3D artifacts you can pick up and handle, and audio information about the site.
Virtual Reality Experience and Exhibit will launch at the:
