May We Pick Flowers?

May 1st, otherwise known as May Day, has been a traditional celebration of spring for centuries. Many celebrations involve flowers, planting or gathering them! We suggest only picking wildflowers, like these desert globemallows, on private lands with permission from the owners, so that everyone can enjoy them in public areas.
