COURSE DESCRIPTION: It was a time of prosperity and a time of crisis. The 1920s was an era of huge artistic, political, economic, and social growth. It was also an era of prohibition, racism, and lawlessness. The Roaring Twenties: Booze, Brawlers, and Broads examines the rapid changes that occurred throughout the decade and their far-reaching effects, answering the question: “What put the roar in the Roaring Twenties?”

October 30th: 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. (Movie, Conclusion) / 2.5 hours

The walking tour will be held in Reno, Nevada (Transportation is not provided.)
